To become a skilled permanent makeup artist, one needs to be properly educated and trained. At ALTRA we provide the most thorough cosmetic tattoo training in Maryland, with 2 weeks of online theory and pre-training, and up to 6 days of in person permanent makeup course, which includes learning about proper techniques, pre-draw and mapping, pmu color theory, and of course intensive hands on training.

ALTRA PMU Academy offers the best pmu training and courses, for those who want to become permanent makeup artists or elevate their technique.
In basic Ombre Powder brow training or Lipblushing classes you will learn to create flawless brows and lips in microshading technique.
Please note, that at ALTRA we don’t teach microblading. While this technique works great for some, unfortunately it’s not suitable for all skin types and ages.
Permanent eyeliner is the most advanced technique, and we recommend learning this after you’ve taken eyebrow tattoo classes and had at least 6 month experience in machine shading.
Our generous permanent makeup classes welcome kit includes a machine, needles, numbing, Natalia’s signature workbook and other supplies, enough to do 20 procedures.
We care about your success, so we provide 2 models for each area for you to work on and complimentary booth rental days, when you can bring 2 additional models. You will have up to 6 clients for your portfolio and come out of the pmu training confident and ready to start taking on clients on your own.
