Permanent Brow Makeup: Transform Your Eyebrows Today!
Every man and woman dreams of having beautiful, natural looking and defined eyebrows, because this part of our face plays a huge role in our appearance – brows frame the face, they show emotions, and full eyebrows is an indicator of good health and youth.
Unfortunately, certain medical conditions, medication, overplucking and aging processes might impact the appearance of one’s eyebrows, that’s why brow tattoo is the most popular service when it comes to permanent makeup.
What is important to know about this procedure?
Currently there are two techniques when it comes to brow permanent makeup:
- manual – Microblading
- machine – includes Microshading, Powder/Ombre brows, Nano brows
At ALTRA permanent makeup and Academy, we offer only machine method, and here’s why:
While Microblading might look great on certain clients, the main disadvantage of this pmu procedure that it’s not suitable for all skin types. And since it involves cutting the skin, there’s a scarring concern as well.
Semi permanent microshading, on the other hand is suitable for all skin types and tones, lasts longer and there’s no risk of scarring. In our opinion, every artist must think about long term results for their clients.
Who is brow tattoo service for? What should I expect at my appointment?
Whether it’s Powder/Ombre or Nano brows, these services allow us to make your brows more defined, fuller, and correct imperfections, such as asymmetry, scarring, absence of hair in certain areas and alopecia. Brow permanent makeup is ideal for those who are tired of wasting time on applying brow makeup every morning and continuous reapplications throughout the day.
Your Microshading appointment consists of several steps. General restrictions list can be found on our website, and for pre-care instructions, we only have a few:
- we ask that you refrain from plucking/waxing 2 weeks prior to your appointment, so we can see your natural hair growth
- discontinue the use of growth serum/retinol 1 month prior to the tattoo service
- no caffeine/alcohol/pain killers the day of service
Sounds easy, right?
When you come in for your brow tattoo appointment, our professionals have a thorough consultation to discuss your goals. We create a precise pre-draw according to your hair growth and bone structure, we customize the color that matches your brow hair, and brow tattoo application itself takes around 45 minutes.
Is permanent brow tattoo painful? How much does it cost and how long does it last?
We apply topical anesthesia and reapply it during the process to ensure maximum comfort, so most of our clients report they barely feel anything and even fall asleep.
While initial healing takes 7-10 days, the complete healing and color bloom takes about a month. Don’t forget, that brow pmu is a two step process. One needs to come back for a 6-12 week follow up to bring the results to perfection.
The cost for permanent brows, as well as prices for other services and availability can be found on our website.
As for longevity, permanent brows last 1-3 years before the color starts to fade, so it’s definitely the best investment for those are tired of filling brows in daily, constant reapplications and who is fed up limiting themselves from activities!
With the appointment taking only 2 hours and you getting perfect brows for a couple years, it’s a no brainer!
Give yourself the best gift and freedom, and schedule appointment with our top artists now!
